Sunday, August 22 Natsu Matsuri 2010 After 1 year I'm back for Natsu Matsuri 2010. Natsu Matsuri, or Summer Festival is an annual Japanese Traditional event held by JAS in the Japanese Primary School in Changi. This time round I'm there with a Yukata! Headed to Diyana's house in the afternoon to get ourselves changed, and after that to Lot 1 for Purikura. Hahaha. Because of our inadequate skills in wearing the yukata and decorating the purikura, we only reached the venue at 6 plus! By then they were no 'offcial' uchiwa (fan) left! But we still got a paper uchiwa from one of the booths, better than nothing! :) Because we reached the place late, most of the proper meals were sold out! So I had Meiji Green Tea ice cream and toriyaki for dinner. We wandered around and look for the games booth, and finally found it! It was at the corner of the wet field. The field was especially muddy at the games booth itself, but at least it was covered with trash bag etc, so it was pretty okay. We only played the yoyo tsuri (water balloon). With my poor skill I only got 1 balloon. Haha. After that we hang out near the field and watch a bit of Bon Odori, wander around the booths again, and diyana taking photos with Asuka (haha!), then we headed home! Photos can be found in my fb here (friends only) cause I'm lazy.. Next month will be Seiransai! And oh, I'm gonna be a undergraduate from tomorrow onwards! |
