Japan Trip 2010 Day 3 Sunday, May 29 On the 3rd day we went on to do tourist stuff, that is visiting the Tsukiji Market, Nakamise Doori/Sensoji and SHIBUYA! Took a coordinate shot while waiting for the others to get ready. There is a lot of dark colours in my closet cause I love blue that much! The knitted hat was bought from earth music&ecology in IKSPIARI the previous night. I'm wearing 3 layers here (long sleeve cotton shirt underneath the checkered shirt), but I overdressed that day! It was pretty warm I don't even need the fleece jacket nor the hat. Lol.
It was close to afternoon when we got to the fish market, so it was pretty empty. There wasn't anything worth capturing really. Just many shops selling seafood/dried food and sashimi restaurants. I guess some restaurants are worth trying cause they have long queues! After that we proceeded to Asakusa! There are A LOT of shops meant for tourists but I didn't buy anything, just this ice cream! XD Lots of flavours to choose from but I had custard pudding soft cream~ I could eat another one in a different flavour but we were rushing for time. After browsing the numerous shops in Nakamise Doori, we finally headed to Shibuya!
We were lost in Shibuya for awhile trying to find the109 building, and I finally saw it!
Reaching the infamous Shibuya 109! I'm not particularly into gal fashion. My purpose there was to take a look at this famous mall and also to help my friend buy wc stuffs. She loves wc! Haha~ Sneaky photo of wc. You can see MiiA too. I'm impressed with how well-dressed the shop staffs and the shoppers were! All the girls are so pretty! I'm just a plain Jane comapared to them D:
The wc staff at the register was so cute! She has eye smiles xD Dinner for that day was at McDonalds! I was eager to try their limited burger since we don't get many limited bugers here. My Aunt had the ebi burger since it's not available in Singapore whereas it's a regular item in Japan. The Diavolo burger consisted of a chicken patty and it was good! The meat wasn't tough nor dry. One thing I noticed about the cardboard that holds the burger is its thickness! A bit of a wastage unless they are recycled! McPORK WAS DELICIOUS! My aunt even bought herself one after sampling mine. We do not have pig/pork-related products in the McDonalds here so I was pretty excited to eat them. Lol.
